         Statement:      

         For this project I used only two materials, wood and paint. This momento is special to me because when I was young my mom would always read books to me before bed and this one resonated with me the most. This object represents the story behind "The Little Engine that Could." The object is suppose to resemble a bench inside a train. I painted it blue because the train in the story is blue. Also, in the story the train had a saying "I think I can, I think I can," and I showed this through the elevating line.
